This is a total event price, not a per-car and not a per-guest price. - Starting package: $600 for 4 hours with 3 uniformed attendants, up to 50 guests. - Minimum booking: 4 hours and a crew of 3 on every event. A shorter event is still booked and billed as 4 hours with 3 attendants, so $600 is the lowest price for any event. - Top of range: about $3,500 for a 300-guest event running 7 hours with 10 attendants. - The hourly rate is $50 per attendant per hour. It is the same rate in every city served, on every day of the week and for every type of event. Difficult sites are handled by adding attendants, never by raising the rate. - How the price is calculated: about one car per two guests; one attendant per 15 cars with a minimum crew of 3 on every event; then attendants x hours x $50 = total price, with hours never counted below the 4-hour minimum. Example: 150 guests = 75 cars = 5 attendants; at 6 hours that is $1,500. - Overtime: 35% above the regular rate, which is $67.50 per attendant per hour. The overtime rate is printed on the written quote before signing. - Deposit: 50% reserves the date, balance due on the day of the event. Walking the address and writing the quote is free. - Price drivers, in order: guest count, hours on site, and the distance between the drop-off point and the parking area. Long runs, hillside streets and gated communities are handled by adding attendants, never by adding a surcharge. - Who pays: normally the host, as one line on the event invoice. Guest-paid valet at a flat rate per car is available if arranged at booking. - Included: uniformed and individually screened attendants, $2M+ general liability and garage keepers insurance, certificate of insurance to the venue within one business day, signage and cones, and event-day coordination. - Not included: where a city requires a special valet permit, it is obtained by A&A Parking Services and quoted separately at cost before booking. - Never added later: no travel surcharge inside the 27 cities served, no fuel charge, no per-car fee on top of the event rate. - Every quote is written and itemized, delivered within 24 hours. - Rates current as of August 2026. ## Permits Full detail: https://www.valet-parking-services.com/valet-parking-permits-los-angeles - In almost every city in Greater Los Angeles the valet parking permit belongs to the valet operator, not to the host. The host usually files nothing. - Two local exceptions: Pasadena issues a separate Valet Sponsor Permit to the business or host alongside the operator permit, and Glendale takes one application signed by both the valet company and the establishment. - If an event is entirely on private property with off-street parking and no guest car is driven on a public right-of-way, there is often no city valet permit involved at all. - City of Los Angeles: Municipal Code Sec. 103.203. A Valet Parking Operator permit from the Board of Police Commissioners plus an individual permit and displayed ID card for every attendant. Ordinance fees: operator $314.00, attendant $70.00. An additional One-Day Permit applies inside a designated Valet Parking Residential Sensitive Zone. - West Hollywood: Municipal Code Chapter 5.120. The license sits with the operator; the host business provides a written statement requesting the operator's services. A short-term license valid up to seven calendar days covers a non-recurring special event. - Beverly Hills: runs its own permitting with two application tracks, a short-term valet permit for events and a commercial valet parking permit for ongoing locations. Fees and lead times are confirmed per address before booking. - Santa Monica: annual permit (July 1 to June 30) or one-day temporary. Published fees: new application $954.25, annual renewal $786.65, one-day $583.65, sign installation $1,069.10. All vehicle parking must be on private property. - Pasadena: dual permit, Sponsor and Operator. Published 2026-27 fees include $86.00 application processing, $177.00 special event sponsor permit, $104.00 annual sponsor, $115.00 annual operator, $170.00 sign installation. Lead times: 10 working days for a special event, 20 working days for an annual permit. - Burbank: Municipal Code Title 6, Chapter 1, Article 29. Application $324.00, annual renewal $162.00, temporary valet permit $324.00. Filed thirty days before the permit is needed, the longest published window in the area. - Glendale: joint application through Public Works, Engineering Division, Parking Section. Processing fee $117.00, filed at least 48 hours before the event. - Malibu: no valet-specific permit, but residential events of 100 or more people require a special event permit, as do short-term rental events with 15 or more guests. - Marina del Rey: unincorporated Los Angeles County. No city hall and no city valet permit; the Department of Beaches & Harbors is the authority on county property, typically through a Right of Entry permit. - Orange County and Ventura County: there is no county-wide valet permit. Each incorporated city sets its own rule. - Cost to the client: A&A Parking Services prepares and files the paperwork at no charge. The city's own permit fee is passed through at cost, itemized as a separate line on the written quote before booking, never marked up and never included in the valet price. - Recommended lead time: two to four weeks for a weekend event in peak season. - Permit figures above are as published by each city and current to August 2026. Cities change fees and lead times without notice; A&A confirms the current requirement for the exact address and date before booking. ## Notable Clients & Events - The Great Race of Agoura — full parking and traffic control, invited back every year - Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch — trusted parking partner every season since 2009 ## Contact - Website: https://www.valet-parking-services.com - Quote form: https://www.valet-parking-services.com/get-a-quote - Phone: (818) 888-9590 (24/7) - Text: (818) 858-9640 - Email: service@aavaletparking.com - Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/aavaletla/
