A&A Parking Services has served Brentwood's residential streets and upscale venues for more than 27 years — dinner parties and milestone birthdays north of Sunset, wedding receptions at private homes, and corporate events along San Vicente. Brentwood hosts expect the parking to be handled quietly and completely, and that is exactly how we staff it.

Brentwood is inside the City of Los Angeles, so your event falls under the city's valet ordinance. We hold the city operator permit, every attendant carries their own card, and we file whatever your specific block requires. Tell us the date and the address and you get a written quote, usually the same day. The site survey costs nothing.

Proof, Not Adjectives

What you can check before
you hand us a single key

Anyone can call themselves professional. These are the four things you can actually verify about us, and we would tell you to ask the same of any company you're considering for your Brentwood event.

📜

A certificate of insurance with your name on it

Before the date we send a COI naming your venue, your HOA or your building as additional insured. If a venue's contract asks for specific limits, we match them or we tell you we can't — we don't send a generic certificate and hope nobody reads it.

🏷

Attendants you can identify

Uniformed, background-checked, and where the jurisdiction issues attendant cards, carrying them. You are welcome to ask the crew lead on arrival — they expect the question.

📋

A written quote and a staffing plan

Not a number over the phone. You get how many attendants, what hours, where the cars go and what happens if guests leave all at once — in writing, before you commit.

📄

A real client reference letter

We ran the parking at one Valley parish and banquet hall for fifteen straight years. The priest put it in writing on his own letterhead in 2012, and we publish the letter rather than paraphrase it. Read the letter.

We don't publish invented customer quotes. What's on this page is either verifiable, linked, or clearly labeled as our own description of how we work.

Local Knowledge

What parking in Brentwood
actually looks like

Brentwood divides cleanly into flat commercial streets to the south and canyon roads to the north, and the two need opposite plans. A quote written without knowing which side of Sunset your address is on is a guess.

San Vicente and the flat blocks

San Vicente's landscaped median means left turns are restricted for long stretches, so the route in and out of a venue is rarely the direct one and always needs to be driven before the event, not assumed from a map. The businesses along here share small lots, which makes the driveway — not the number of spaces — the thing that determines how fast the line moves.

North of Sunset toward Kenter and Mandeville

These are canyon roads: narrow, winding, no shoulder, and lined with houses whose driveways hold two cars. Parking guest vehicles along them is both a fire-access problem and the fastest way to get a complaint filed. We stage cars off the canyon and shuttle, and we keep a running lane open for the whole evening.

Barrington, Wilshire and the condominium corridor

The buildings here have garages with clearance limits, guest-parking rules set by the HOA, and loading docks that close at a fixed hour. The gatekeeper for an event in one of them is building management, and that conversation needs to happen at the quote stage rather than the week of the event.

Brentwood is City of Los Angeles

Your address is governed by the Los Angeles Municipal Code: a written operator permit for the company, an individual permit and a visible Board-issued card for every attendant, and an additional one-day permit if your block falls inside a designated sensitive zone. Santa Monica, a few minutes south, is a separate city with separate rules. We hold the LA credentials and check your block.

Talk to a person

No call center, no ticket number. You get someone who has parked cars in Brentwood and can tell you on the phone whether your address is going to be a problem.

Brentwood Valet Permits

Brentwood is City of Los Angeles —
Santa Monica, minutes away, is not

Most hosts assume valet parking is just a service you hire. Inside the City of Los Angeles it is a permitted activity with its own section of the municipal code, its own insurance floor and its own background rules for the people handing back your keys.

Here is what actually governs a Brentwood address, and how you can check that any company you're considering — including us — really holds it.

📜

Operator permit, not a business license

LAMC 103.203 requires a written Valet Parking Operator permit for any operator moving vehicles on the public right-of-way, and a Master permit for operators running multiple locations. A city business license alone does not cover it.

🏷

Every attendant is permitted individually

LAMC 103.203.1 requires each valet parking attendant to hold their own written permit from the Board and to visibly display a valid Board-issued identification card while working. Ask any company you're considering to show you those cards.

🛡

The insurance floor is set by the city

The code sets minimums of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate in general liability, $250,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate in garage keeper's liability, and $1,000,000 in vehicle liability, with deductibles capped at $5,000 per occurrence.

🏠

Residential Sensitive Zones

The Board of Police Commissioners can designate a Valet Parking Residential Sensitive Zone with its own boundaries and rules. Operating inside one requires an additional One-Day Permit, issued only after the Board's Executive Director finds the valet will not harm public safety or create a nuisance.

👤

Seven-year background rule

An attendant permit is denied to anyone convicted in the previous seven years of a felony or of any offense involving violence, dishonesty, automobile theft, automobile vandalism, reckless driving or driving under the influence. Our attendants are screened to that standard.

📋

We file it, you don't

We handle the operator permit, the attendant credentials and any one-day zone permit your Brentwood address needs, and we tell you honestly when a permit is not required so you're not paying for paperwork you don't need.

Requirements above are summarized from the Los Angeles Municipal Code, Sections 103.203 and 103.203.1. Code sections change; we confirm current requirements for your specific address before every event.

Brentwood Valet FAQ

Questions Brentwood hosts actually ask

You personally do not, but your valet company does. Brentwood is inside the City of Los Angeles, and LAMC 103.203 requires the operator to hold a written Valet Parking Operator permit whenever vehicles are moved on or over a public right-of-way. If your address sits inside a designated Valet Parking Residential Sensitive Zone, an additional One-Day Permit from the Board of Police Commissioners is required. We check your specific address and file whatever applies.
Yes. LAMC 103.203.1 requires each valet parking attendant to hold a written permit from the Board and to visibly display a valid Board-issued identification card while working. It also bars anyone convicted in the previous seven years of a felony or of an offense involving violence, dishonesty, automobile theft, automobile vandalism, reckless driving or driving under the influence. If a company cannot show you those cards, they are not permitted to work a Brentwood street.
We carry general liability and garage keeper's liability coverage, and we can name your venue, building or HOA as an additional insured on request. For reference, the City of Los Angeles sets the floor for permitted operators at $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate in general liability, $250,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate in garage keeper's liability, and $1,000,000 in vehicle liability, with deductibles capped at $5,000 per occurrence. We send the certificate before your event, not on the day.
Yes, and it's the most common job we do in Brentwood. Cars go to a staging area rather than along the canyon, with attendants stationed at the driveway apron so guests step out at the house and a shuttle running continuously. The one thing we won't do is line both sides of a canyon street with guest cars, because that is a fire-access problem before it's a neighbor problem.
Yes, and we'd rather do it ourselves than have you relay it. We need the management contact, the garage clearance height, the guest-parking rules and the loading dock hours. Clearance in particular can rule out a shuttle van and change the whole plan, so it's better found in the survey than at the ramp on the night of your event.
It depends on the guest count, the arrival window and, above all, the distance from the drop-off point to where cars are parked. A guest list arriving over two hours needs fewer attendants than the same list arriving in twenty minutes. We size the crew from your actual arrival curve and put it in writing in the quote. Our valet staffing calculator shows how the math works.
For a weekend event in peak season, two to four weeks gives us room to run the site survey and file any permit your address requires. We do take same-day and next-day bookings when a crew is available, but a rushed booking limits the permit options, so booking earlier is genuinely cheaper and calmer.
Full-service event valet runs $600 to $3,500 for the whole event — a total event price, not a per-car and not a per-guest price. The starting package is $600 for four hours with three uniformed attendants, up to 50 guests, and every booking has a 4-hour minimum with a 3-attendant minimum crew, which makes $600 the lowest price for any event. Above that, the crew grows by one attendant per 15 cars. The formula is attendants × hours × $50 — $50 is the hourly rate per attendant, and it does not change with the city, the day of the week or the type of event. The full pricing breakdown shows every step and the overtime rate. Tell us the date, guest count and address and you’ll get a written, itemized quote — usually the same day — with no charge for the site survey.
